Who Am I? (Part 2)

Her eyes fluttered open, as her still body came to life.

Where am I?

She began to lift her right arm, only to feel an agonizing pain shoot through her shoulder. Groaning, she attempted to use her left hand to soothe her shoulder, but her hand wouldn't budge. Horrified, she glanced at it, trapped in what seemed like sticky dark goo. After multiple attempts of curving and maneuvering her fingers, she extracted her hand, and held her throbbing shoulder as she tried to raise her body.

Her eyes darted around, trying to make sense of where she was; surrounded by translucent pink and white gunge, and sturdy pearly white structures. She was on her hands and knees now, assessing whether the remaining strength in her legs was enough to hold her straight, when suddenly, a rush of frosty air engulfed her fragile body, causing her to drop back down, wrapping her sore arms around herself and shivering. The frail brown dress that loosely draped her body was hardly enough to keep her warm.

Her stomach began to grumble almost as loud as the storm that was just about to unravel nearby. Hearing the sound of distant thunder, a surge of panic rushed through her chest. The adrenaline gave her the final surge of strength she needed to get on her feet, and she began to pace around in this strange room she was trapped in. Her gaze landed on a carving on one of the pillars, which seemed legible, however her excitement of finally receiving a hint caused her to step over her own foot, and losing her balance, her feet slid across the soft and slimy platform, as she fell headfirst into the pale yellow pillar.

Her eyelids felt heavy again, almost as if boulders had been placed on their periphery, as the room began to spin around her. The pillar she crashed into had cracked, right through the carvings of hope she had discovered earlier, and caused an unknown rumbling underneath her. Dazed and confused, she allowed the darkness to take over her, as her body went limp once more.
